My Story

In January of 2014 I traveled to Thailand with a group from to minister to a group of missionary kids (MKs). I loved the country, the people, and connecting with all the missionaries.
In Thailand with MKs!

Now, a little over a year later, I have the opportunity to go back to Thailand for 2 years- this time to teach at an International Christian School.

This opportunity is exciting because I will be able to use so many of my gifts and passions. As many of you know, I earned my undergraduate degree at Baylor in Music Education. I have loved music for a very long time and have enjoyed teaching for the last several years. I also loved the idea, however, of being overseas doing ministry.

With a tiger in Thailand!!

There is something that excites me to think about being a part of the great commission, going into all the world, and getting the opportunity to share the love of Christ with those who have never had the opportunity to hear. On top of those two passions, I have also been working on a Masters in Social Work for the last few years at Baylor. I will graduate in May 2015. As graduation approached I started wondering, what should I do next? Should I teach music? Go overseas? Do social work?

Why not all of the above?! By the grace of God, I will have the unique opportunity to do so many things I have been trained to do (and love to do) in the beautiful country of Thailand over the next several years.

And guess what? You can be a part of the adventure too!
